● Register of Companies at Risk from Asbestos (RERA).
● Occupational exposure limits and prohibitions.
● Disposal and transport of asbestos waste.
● Work plan.
● Health surveillance requirements.
Specific preventive techniques
● Implementation of the work plan and/or health and safety plan for the specific task and/or
specific risk assessment.
● Safe professional practices, controls and protective equipment.
● The function, choice, selection, appropriate use, useful life and limitations of respiratory equipment
.
● Where applicable, depending on the type of equipment used, the ways and methods of checking
the functioning of respiratory equipment.
● Work procedure: definition, content, etc.
● Assessment and control of the working environment. Measurement of the concentration of asbestos fibres
in the air and results.
● Emergency procedures.
● Decontamination procedures.
● Collective protection (fitting, uses, obligations and maintenance).

Professional Practices
→ Practice No. 1: Personal Protective Equipment (1.5 hours)
→ Practice No. 2: Waste, moistening and encapsulation systems, and handling
of manual suction equipment (1.5 hours)
→ Practice No. 3: Assembly, maintenance and use of decontamination chambers
(2 hours)
→ Practice No. 4: Working with friable material. Working in containment bubbles.
Working in negative pressure environments (3 hours)
