Goals

The objectives of the training Lockout/tagout course and certificate :

• Understand the different types of hazardous energy that power machines and installations.
• Identify and select the appropriate locking and labelling devices that can be used to isolate a machine from its energy sources.
• Draft consignments to carry out safe interventions on machines and installations.
• Know how to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of a LOTO lockout and tagout programme.

5. Staff awareness of LOTO management.
6. Classification of hazardous energy sources and their risks.
7. Applicable LOTO procedures.
8. Practical training for each participant with real devices, using the LOTO methodology.
