Goals
The objectives of the training Working at Height Course :
The aim of the course is to enable students to identify and assess the risks associated with their job and take the most effective preventive measures to carry out their tasks safely.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) for working at height: characteristics,
types, maintenance and handling. Applicable EC regulations.
• Safety and prevention in vertical work.
• Basic elements of physics applied to the behaviour of materials during
use.
• Equipment verification and material handling.
• Fundamental knots.
• Use of fall arresters when ascending and descending.
• Handling loads at height.
• Basic rescue manoeuvres for injured persons in suspension.
• Installation of temporary lifelines: Anchor straps and anchor points.
• Progression along ropes, descents and ascents.
• Hoist techniques
• Use of personal protective equipment
• Installation and use of temporary lifelines
