Frequently Asked Questions About Eurocontrol and Apave
-
What happened to Eurocontrol?
Eurocontrol has been part of the Apave Group since 2020. As of January 12, 2026, its operations in Spain are conducted under the Apave brand. This name change marks the completion of its integration into the group and ensures the continuity of the services Eurocontrol has been providing in Spain since 1973. -
What will change for me as a customer?
We are changing the brand under which we operate and the company name that appears on invoices. Our business activities, equipment, and services remain the same. You can continue to contact your usual representatives to handle your requests. -
Will my contacts change?
No. The rebranding does not affect your usual contacts. If you were already working with Eurocontrol, you can continue to contact your team to inquire about a service, follow up on a project, or ask a question. -
Will the company name or tax ID number change?
The company name does change; however, each company’s CIF remains the same. As of January 12, 2026, invoices will be issued under the name of the applicable company: Apave Inspection Spain, S.A., formerly Eurocontrol, S.A., or Apave Asistencia Técnica Spain, S.L.U., formerly Eurocontrol Asistencia Técnica, S.L.U. The name “Apave” identifies the common brand; the legal name identifies the company issuing your invoice. -
Are the documents issued by Eurocontrol still valid?
A change of brand or corporate name does not, in and of itself, invalidate documents issued by Eurocontrol. Their terms and conditions—and, where applicable, their validity periods—remain in effect. Documents issued under Apave also retain the validity applicable to each document. If you have questions about a specific report, certificate, or record, please consult your usual team.
The transition from Eurocontrol to Apave represents a natural evolution for our organization. We remain the same professionals, with the same dedication and approachability, but we now have the added strength of a leading international brand.
