Goals
The objectives of the training Basic Level Course on Prevention in the Construction Sector :
• Promote safe behaviour and the correct use of work and protective equipment, encouraging workers' interest and cooperation in integrated preventive action.
• Promote, in particular, basic preventive actions, such as order, cleanliness, signage and general maintenance, as well as monitoring and control.
• Carry out basic risk assessments and, where appropriate, establish preventive measures of the same nature compatible with their level of training.
• Collaborate in the assessment and control of general and specific risks in the company, carrying out visits for this purpose, responding to complaints and suggestions, recording data, and performing any other similar functions that may be necessary.
• Act in emergencies and provide first aid, managing initial interventions for this purpose.

3. Specific risks and their prevention in the construction sector.
• Different phases of construction and their corresponding protections (nets, railings, scaffolding, work platforms, ladders, etc.).
• Construction site implementation. Sanitary facilities, temporary installations, etc.
4. Basic elements of risk prevention management.
• Public bodies related to occupational health and safety.
• Preventive organisation of work: basic "routines".
• Documentation: collection, preparation and filing.
• Worker representation. Rights and obligations (prevention delegates, health and safety committee, designated workers, etc.).
5. First aid.
• General procedures.
• Action plan.
