Building Quality Control Body (BQC)

We are a Building Quality Control Entity to comply with the provisions of Royal Decree 410/2010, of March 31, and whose purpose is the Quality Assurance adopted in the Technical Building Control Activity in accordance with the Law 38/1999 of November 5 on Construction Planning.

What is the goal of
the Building Quality Control Entity?

The fundamental objective is to establish a unitary regulation of the building process, and establish a general framework in which the quality of buildings can be promoted with the commitment to establish sufficient guarantees for users against possible damage, taking into account the requirements related to the functionality, safety and habitability that the buildings within its scope of application must meet, introducing in its article 14 the "Building Quality Control Entities" as a figure of new incorporation to the regulatory legal field of the building process , appearing defined in the aforementioned article 14 as "those whose mission is to provide the rest of the participants in the building process, the necessary technical assistance for the verification of the quality of both the Project, as well as the materials and the execution of the works and its facilities.

Our services

The accredited Quality Control Entities will establish the guidelines and carry out an external and independent quality control of the construction works in the following aspects:

Project control

In which the Entity verifies, inspects and issues its reports or certificates on the suitability of the solutions adopted and their precision in the written, numerical or graphic description.

Quality control of materials

The Quality Control of the materials, equipment and systems arranged on site is carried out in accordance with current regulations. This control consists of verifying the suitability of these with the Technical Specifications Specifications established in the Project and the orders of the Facultative Direction.

Control of the execution of the work

During the execution of the work, the suitability of the work units executed is verified with the Execution Project and its modifications authorized by the Work Director with the prior consent of the promoter, as well as with the Technical Building Code (CTE) and other regulations. applicable.

Control of the execution of the installations

Control of reception and assembly of the equipment supplied to the work, in order to verify that the specifications of the project are met in terms of the characteristics and qualities of the equipment and components.
Periodic assistance during the execution of the work, by qualified specialist technicians for each of the installations, for:
Assistance to the Start-up Tests of Equipment and Installations.

Topographic control and monitoring

Geometric control of buildings located next to works.
Geometry check and layout of works
The quality control carried out is documented in the reports made for this purpose.
