Modification or integration of a machine
When you modify or adapt a machine that you have just bought, integrate it into a set of machines or use it in a different way than intended, the manufacturer's CE marking is no longer valid for the modified parts and you must prove that the modification does not pose a risk. At Eurocontrol, we advise you on the technical file and risk assessment and ensure the conformity of the final installation and the safety of your workers.

CE marking of machines vs RD 1215:
two levels of safety
As a machine user, you must comply with certain requirements to guarantee the safety of your workers. Royal Decree 1215/1997 establishes the minimum health and safety provisions for the use of work equipment, but CE marking guarantees you a higher level of safety.
