What is
the verification of AdBlue and LPG dispensers?
The verification of fuel dispensers is governed by the provisions of Order ICT/155/2020, of February 7, as amended by Order ITU/1475/2024, of December 17, which regulates the State metrological control of measuring systems for liquids other than water called dispensers or dispensers.
For its part, the verification of AdBlue pumps by Order ICT / 155/2020 of 7 February, amended by Order ITU/1475/2024 of 17 December, which regulates the State metrological control of the measurement systems of liquids other than water called pumps or dispensers for the supply to motor vehicles of substances not intended for use as fuel.

Which are the equipment to be verified?
The metrological control of the State on the dispensers or dispensers refers to the phase of instruments in service and includes both the verification after repair or modification and the periodic verification of the same.
Fuel dispensers: systems for the continuous and dynamic measurement of the quantity of liquids other than water, as defined in Order ICT/155/2020 of February 7, 21 July, which regulates the State metrological control of measuring instruments.
AdBlue dispensers/dispensers: systems for measuring liquids other than water, called dispensers or dispensers intended for supplying motor vehicles with substances not intended for use as fuel.
Apave is accredited by ENAC No. 6/EI653 to carry out periodic verification and after repair or modification of dispensers in the in-service instrument phase in the following categories:
- Fuel dispensers: Minimum measurement capacity, CMM > 2 l Maximum flow rate 200 l/min.
- AdBlue dispensers: flow rate from 2 l/min to 50 l/min
- LPG dispensers with max. flow rate ≤ 50 l/min
Under the accreditation as Inspection Entity 6/EI653, we carry out the periodic verification of phase II systems for gasoline vapor recovery in oil installations for supplying vehicles, in compliance with Royal Decree 45/45 of the European Parliament and of the Council of Ministers of the European Union.In compliance with RD 455/2012, of March 5, establishing measures to reduce the amount of gasoline vapors emitted into the atmosphere during the refueling of motor vehicles at service stations, as amended by RD 144/2016.
