Goals

The objectives of the training PRL course for work on other types of installations such as photovoltaic or wind power installations :

Acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to be able to apply safe work prevention techniques during the execution of the work units carried out.

1. Contents of the common or core part:
1.1 Verification, identification and monitoring of the workplace and its surroundings.
• Risks and measures
• Knowledge of the workplace environment. Task planning from a specific point of view.
• Storage and collection of materials.
• Handling of chemical products. Safety data sheet. Symbols.
• Order and cleanliness.
• Signage. Traffic in the workplace.

1.2 Interference between activities.
• Simultaneous or successive activities.

1.3 Rights and obligations.
• General and specific regulatory framework.
• Organisation of prevention.
• Raising awareness of the importance of getting involved in risk prevention
• Participation, information, consultation and proposals.

1.4 Road safety.
• Sections 1.1 to 1.4 last a total of 9 hours.

1.5 First aid and emergency measures.
• Basic specific knowledge. Objectives and functions.
• Section 1.5 lasts 3 hours.

2. Specific content:
2.1 Definition of the tasks.
• Definition of safe work procedures and processes for the position.

2.2 Specific preventive techniques.
• Application of the health and safety plan to the specific task. Risk assessment and specific information.
• Specific risks and preventive measures.
• Falls on the same level.
• Risks of entrapment in presses.
• Risks of entrapment in presses.
• Risks from flying particles or objects.
• Risk of impact with objects.
• Risks of cuts and punctures.
• Risks arising from the use of hazardous substances and chemicals: Inhalation or ingestion of vapours, gases, fumes and harmful substances.
• Risk of explosion.
• Risks of heat stress.
• Risk of burns.
• Risks of fire and electrical contact.
• Radiation risks.
• Risks arising from manual handling of loads.
• Noise.
• Collective protection measures (installation, use, obligations and maintenance). Individual protection measures (installation, use, obligations and maintenance).

2.3 Auxiliary means, equipment and tools.

For who ?

Workers who carry out their activity in companies that fall within the scope of the State Collective Agreement for Industry, Technology and Services in the Metal Sector.
